Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Nottingham is hiring an active DVSA MOT Tester for a busy independent service centre with a modern Automated Test Lane (ATL). You will conduct thorough DVSA inspections, perform light maintenance and pre-MOT rectifications to ensure safety and compliance.

The role offers a competitive salary (£35,000–£45,000), a productivity bonus, on-site parking, PPE and staff discounts, plus 20 days leave and a company pension. Front-of-house support frees you to focus on testing.

Qualifications

• Active DVSA Smart Card / MOT Tester Licence required.
• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or time-served equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT inspections in line with DVSA standards.
• Carry out light mechanical servicing (brakes, suspension, lighting, exhausts) and pre-MOT rectifications.
• Log test results accurately in the DVSA system and document advisories.
