Job summary

Leidos UK in Farnborough is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our team to build and execute manual and automated tests across functional, integration and system levels. The role focuses on Python-based test automation, AWS hosted services and database validation to support secure, reliable solutions for UK government and partner projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
• DV clearance required or eligible for DV clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, execute and maintain manual and automated test approaches across functional, integration, system and regression testing.
• Design and implement scalable Python test automation frameworks, reusable libraries and supporting utilities.
• Test AWS-hosted services and applications, including interfaces, data flows, permissions, logging and operational behaviour.
• Plan and perform security testing against CIS Security Controls and Safeguards with evidence.
• Assess security controls across AWS, applications, databases and infrastructure.
