Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join a small, agile team delivering a large-scale systems integration programme. You will generate and execute tests across software products and interfaces, collaborating with international teams and customer stakeholders to design, create and run tests.

The role involves creating test plans, building automated regression suites, and documenting results and defects, while communicating risks and progress to leadership and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience including ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing.
• Excellent understanding of Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional, Non-Functional and Integration Testing.
• Demonstrable systems integration experience including integrating 3rd party systems or components.

Responsibilities

• Generating and reviewing Test Plans, Designs and Reports, working with suppliers and senior stakeholders
• Generating Test Cases by reviewing of change requests, requirements and design documentation, liaising with SMEs
• Building an automated suite of regression tests
• Documenting of test results and any defects/reporting progress, risks & issues
• Investigating issues and working with suppliers to identify root cause and resolution
• Identifying improvements in new and existing processes
