Additional Resources Ltd is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join its cyber technology and software assurance team supporting UK Defence and Critical National Infrastructure programmes. You will develop automated tests, investigate issues and collaborate with technical teams to improve testing solutions.

This full-time role offers a salary of up to £113,000 plus benefits. Occasional travel may be required and eligibility requires UK DV security clearance and a British passport with 10

Qualifications

• DV security clearance required.
• British passport and 10 years UK residency and travel history.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or related subject, or ISTQB qualification.
• Strong problem-solving and mathematical ability.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated test scripts.
• Apply appropriate test automation practices and standards.
• Test software to identify, investigate and resolve issues.
• Work with Test Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
• Stay up to date with developments in testing and automation.
• Pursue ongoing training and development in testing techniques.
• Follow security, privacy and ethics requirements.
• Support team and customer meetings and training as required.
• Undertake other duties appropriate to role and responsibility.
