Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support UK Defence and Critical National Infrastructure programmes. You will develop automated tests, investigate software issues and collaborate with technical teams to improve testing solutions.

This full-time role offers a salary of up to £113,000 and benefits. Occasional travel may be required. Right to work in the UK and valid DV security clearance are required, along with a British passport and 10 years UK residency history.

Qualifications

• Valid Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, C#, or Java.
• Degree in Computer Science or ISTQB qualification.
• British passport and permanent UK residency history required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated test scripts.
• Apply test automation practices and standards.
• Test software to identify, investigate and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Test Analysts and Software Developers to develop effective solutions.
• Keep up to date with developments in testing and automation.
• Maintain your professional development through relevant training and learning.
• Follow organisational requirements relating to security, privacy and ethics.
• Support team and customer meetings, events and training where required.
• Undertaking other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility.
