Job summary

Copello in Farnborough is seeking a mid level Test Automation Engineer for a contract role. The position is based in Farnborough with 3-4 days onsite per week, 37.5 hours, for an initial 4-6 month engagement with Inside IR35 and DV clearance required.

The role combines manual testing, Python-based test automation, AWS testing, database and security-testing expertise to deliver secure, reliable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with manual testing across functional, integration, system and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, execute and maintain manual and automated test approaches across functional, integration, system and regression testing.
• Design and implement scalable Python test automation frameworks, reusable libraries and supporting utilities.
• Test AWS-hosted services and applications, including interfaces, data flows, permissions, logging and operational behaviour.
• Plan and perform security testing against CIS Security Controls and Safeguards with evidence-based findings.
• Assess security controls across AWS, applications, databases and supporting infrastructure.
