Job summary

Experis UK is seeking an experienced DV Cleared Senior Service Architect in Basingstoke to define and deliver service design artefacts for a high-profile programme in a secure environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders, project teams and technical architects to ensure scalable, compliant and operationally ready services.

The role focuses on producing HLDs, BPMN models, compliance statements and operational processes, while guiding service transition and through-life support activities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ITIL, ISO 20000 and service management best practices.
• Experience designing and implementing service management solutions within complex environments.
• Knowledge of programme and project delivery methodologies including PRINCE2 and Agile.
• Experience with process and architecture modelling techniques such as UML and BPMN.
• Understanding of SIAM operating models and service integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide service design direction based on customer requirements and outcomes.
• Produce high-quality service design documentation (HLDs, BPMN, compliance statements, operational processes).
• Undertake Service Management impact assessments for service and technology solutions.
• Facilitate service readiness activities for smooth transition into live operation.
• Perform service transition and service exit management activities.
• Support through-life management of services and technologies.
• Review service design collateral and provide feedback.
• Identify and escalate risks to the Domain Lead as needed.
• Collaborate with Solution Owners and technical teams to ensure stability and efficiency.
• Contribute to Testing and Security disciplines.
