Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking a Security Architect with DV clearance to design and implement enterprise security architectures for defence/aerospace IT environments. You will drive security strategy, lead programmes, and ensure compliance with MOD requirements.

Responsibilities include architecture reviews, threat management, and incident response design, while aligning with ISMS standards. The role demands deep security expertise and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years' information security experience with 5+ years in architecture role.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale security architectures.
• Strong background in defence, aerospace or government security programmes.
• Demonstrated expertise with security operations, incident response and threat management.
• Track record of leading security transformation and programme implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design holistic security architectures across people, process and technology.
• Develop enterprise-wide security strategies aligned with Defence Policy.
• Architect defence-in-depth solutions across network, app, data and endpoints.
• Lead security architecture reviews and risk assessments.
• Design zero-trust models and continuous verification frameworks.
