Searchability in Farnborough, UK is seeking a Lead Security Architect to lead secure delivery for internal and MOD programmes, collaborating with Software Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure, Agile and Cyber Security teams.

The role requires SC clearance and eligibility for DV, with a strong background in defence/security, designing secure architectures, risk management, and producing security documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong Security Architecture experience within Defence, Government or similarly secure environments.
• Experience conducting cyber security risk management using methodologies such as NIST 800-53.
• Knowledge of secure-by-design principles and security controls across networks, endpoints and cryptography.
• Experience producing security documentation, risk assessments, policies, test plans and assurance artefacts.

Responsibilities

• Support the secure delivery of internal and MOD programmes, working with Software Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure, Agile and Cyber Security teams.
• Develop proportionate security architectures and provide strategic direction on security projects.
• Produce security and assurance documentation to support MOD requirements and secure-by-design delivery.
