Job summary

Sanderson Government and Defence is seeking an experienced Network Solutions Architect to design secure network architectures within Defence environments and support accreditation activities.

The role requires Active DV clearance and delivers architectural leadership across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring secure-by-design solutions align with programme requirements and security standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with core Cisco networking technologies (Routing & Switching, ASA, ACI).
• Active Security Clearance with ability to gain DV clearance.
• Experience leading technical projects and presenting designs to stakeholders.
• Proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Group Policy.

Responsibilities

• Design and assure secure network architectures within Defence environments.
• Apply Secure by Design principles across the solution lifecycle.
• Assess and mitigate security risks across networks and infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to teams and stakeholders.
• Support security accreditation and governance activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and programme teams to deliver resilient solutions.
• Ensure architectures align with Defence security standards and operational requirements.
