Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence seeks an experienced DV Cleared Platform Engineer to join a Corsham-based programme delivering secure cloud-native platforms in a highly controlled environment.

You will design, build and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure, automate deployments with Terraform/Ansible, and collaborate across DevOps, software and security teams to ensure platform resilience and security. This role requires active DV clearance and experience in secure settings.

Qualifications

• DV clearance is essential.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in enterprise or secure environments.
• Docker/container technologies experience.
• Linux systems administration and automation tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).
• Experience in defence/government or secure environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure.
• Automate deployment, configuration and management using IaC.
• Support development of containerised apps and microservices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering and security teams for resilience, scalability and security.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues.
