Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking a DV Cleared Network Engineer to join a global security practice in London on-site. You will design, build, test, and support mission-critical network infrastructure to protect national and international defense capabilities.

The role requires active DV clearance and 10+ years of UK residency, with responsibilities including routing protocols, LAN switching, network security, and firewall/IDS/IPS configurations.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with enterprise routing design and protocols (e.g., OSPF, IS-IS, BGP).
• Strong LAN switching knowledge in SME/data center environments.
• Practical expertise in network security standards (MACSEC, IPSEC, 802.1x).
• Hands-on firewall management and IDS/IPS configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, validate, maintain and support network infrastructure.
• Deploy new network technologies for enterprise and remote site connectivity.
• Maintain standards for global networks (wireless, LAN, SD-WAN) and manage hardware setups.
