Job summary

SF Partners in the United Kingdom is seeking a Network Engineer with active DV clearance to join a highly secure government/defence project. The role focuses on installing, configuring and supporting network infrastructure across multiple sites, with site visits.

Based in West Midlands / Gloucestershire, you will work full-time in Tewkesbury with occasional travel, handle routing/switching, firewalls, and documentation, and collaborate with customer and internal teams to resolve issues while

Qualifications

• Current and active DV clearance - essential
• Some practical networking/infrastructure engineering experience
• A foundation in routing, switching, network support or network infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in, or an understanding of, secure environments
• Willingness to work across customer sites and develop technically
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring and supporting network infrastructure
• Supporting switches, routers and firewalls
• Troubleshooting network and connectivity issues
• Supporting network upgrades and changes
• Carrying out site installations, audits and technical health checks
• Preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Working with customer and internal technical teams to resolve issues
• Producing and maintaining network and implementation documentation
• Developing your knowledge across more advanced networking and data-centre technologies
