Job summary

Experis seeks a Level 3 Network Engineer to join a secure programme in Corsham, onsite for an initial 6-month period with potential extension. You will manage critical network infrastructure, install and maintain devices, and produce documentation.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex LAN/WAN issues, implementing service changes, and working with stakeholders to deliver improvements while adhering to security and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Network Engineering within enterprise or secure environments.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing, switching and firewall technologies.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures.
• Familiar with network change, incident, problem, and defect management processes.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and technical teams to deliver network improvements.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience in regulated/defence environments and DV clearance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Join a high-profile secure programme supporting critical network infrastructure in a complex environment.
• Onboard and offboard network nodes across secure environments.
• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain network devices, firewalls, and supporting infrastructure.
• Provide Level 3 support across LAN, WAN, and core network services.
• Support network design changes, upgrades, and technical improvements.
• Investigate and resolve complex Level 3 network incidents, problems, and defects.
• Collaborate with third parties, resolver groups and stakeholders to implement service changes.
• Produce and update network design and technical documentation; manage cryptographic devices within a secure environment.
