Job summary

LA International is seeking a Level 3 Network Engineer (Cisco) to support LAN and WAN across security domains on a live system. The role involves incident management and change implementation for escalated issues, in remote-based environments, with DV clearance required.

The ideal candidate will handle network devices, firewalls, and NSX/SD-WAN components, while updating design documentation to reflect changes and ensuring security and compliance throughout the engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, configuring, deploying and diagnosing network devices including routers, switches and firewalls.
• Level 3 support for LANs and WANs relating to core services.
• Ability to update network design documentation to capture changes.

Network Engineer

Location : Corsham

Clearance : DV cleared.

Duration : 3 months initial.

We are looking for a L3 Network Engineer (CISCO) to provide network engineering support of the LAN and WAN across all security domains. Your role will involve incident management and change implementation on our clients' live system, on incidents that have been escalated from 1/2nd line resources that are often remotely based environments.

Skills:

• * Installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance and diagnostics of all Network Devices and supporting cabling and infrastructure eg Router, switch and firewall IOS and firmware upgrades
• * Level 3 Support for the LANs and WANs relating to Core Services
• * Network support, advice and recommendations to design change
• * Updating Design Documentation to capture Network Changes
• * ASA and Firepower firewall experience.
• * Experience of multi-security tier and multi-tenant environments.
• * Knowledge of VMWare NSX Firewall & SDWAN.
• * NGNIX
• * LINUX
