Job summary

SF Partners in the United Kingdom is seeking a Network Engineer with an active DV clearance to support secure government and defence projects across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire. This hands-on role requires the ability to work across customer sites and travel as needed.

The position is full-time with a pattern of 3-4 days per week in the West Midlands and 1-2 days in Gloucestershire. A strong networking foundation and problem-solving mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Active DV clearance is essential for consideration.
• Experience in networking/infrastructure engineering.
• Foundation in routing, switching and network support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in secure environments or environments with high security requirements.
• Willingness to travel and work across customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and support network infrastructure.
• Support switches, routers and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.
• Assist with network upgrades and changes.
• Perform site installations, audits and technical health checks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain network implementation documentation.
• Develop knowledge across advanced networking and data-centre technologies.
