Searchability NS&D is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for on-site work in Cheltenham/Gloucester, focusing on secure, mission-critical environments. You will manage proactive and reactive support for customers within the National Security space, implementing automation to reduce human error and improve platform reliability.

The role emphasizes ITIL4 practices, incident resolution, change control, and risk management, with a clear path across mid, senior, and lead levels for qualified

Qualifications

• Active Enhanced DV clearance is required.
• Full-time on-site role in Cheltenham/Gloucester.
• Experience maintaining mission-critical secure environments.
• Ability to implement automation and ITIL4 practices.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational support, including incident resolution, change implementation, and maintenance for stable environments.
• Implementing approved technical requests and automation to improve productivity.
• Developing and implementing improvements to operational and reference platform environments.
• Producing clear and concise technical documentation and supporting the Tech Lead with risk management.
• Proactive monitoring and stakeholder management, including service reporting and reviews.
• Embracing ITIL4 practices for agile platform operation delivery and operations.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, best practices, and internal standards.
