Job summary

Sopra Steria in Hemel Hempstead (moving to Watford) is seeking an active DV cleared Infrastructure Engineer to join a major greenfield Defence programme, delivering secure messaging and infrastructure platforms in highly classified environments.

You will work across Windows Server, Linux, AD, storage and virtualization, supporting delivery, transition and live production, while growing your technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance and sole UK nationality.
• Experience supporting Wintel and server-based environments within complex enterprise infrastructures.
• Broad infrastructure knowledge across Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization and networking technologies.
• Ability to work across a range of infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery, transition and ongoing support of infrastructure services into live production.
• Maintain and enhance secure messaging and infrastructure platforms.
• Support systems operating within highly classified environments.
• Work across Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, storage and virtualisation technologies.
• Contribute to infrastructure integration and operational support activities within a greenfield Defence programme.
• Support platforms that underpin critical Defence and national security outcomes.
