Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work on a secure defence project from the Hemel Hempstead office with hybrid travel to client sites and occasional WFH. Active DV clearance is required.

You will lead complex requirement elicitation, model processes, document BRDs and specifications, and manage stakeholder relationships. The role emphasises agile and waterfall delivery, with responsibilities spanning from requirements to solution design and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Expert in advanced business analysis techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
• Skilled in eliciting, analysing, managing and documenting business needs and complex requirements.
• High proficiency in business process modelling and process improvement strategies.
• Knowledge of delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Ability to design scalable business solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and client liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex requirement gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders.
• Create process models to visualise current and future processes.
• Develop BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and ensure their needs are met.
• Coordinate and lead client meetings; act as primary contact for major components of a solution.
