La Fosse Associates Limited is seeking a Commercial Lead to steer procurement and commercial strategy within a high-security Defence environment, hybrid London/remote working. You will lead end-to-end procurement across innovation, R&D and emerging tech, advising senior stakeholders, managing risk and ensuring value for money while navigating complex regulations.

You will need a strong track record of delivering complex procurement outcomes on tight timescales in government or defence sectors,

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in commercial and procurement within Defence or government.
• Proven delivery of complex procurement outcomes under tight timelines.
• Strong negotiation and risk management capabilities.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders in large organisations.

• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with programme objectives.
• Provide strategic commercial advice to senior stakeholders and teams.
• Manage end-to-end procurement, market engagement, sourcing and contracts.
• Develop innovative procurement approaches to accelerate capability delivery.
• Navigate complex challenges and identify practical procurement solutions.
• Assess and mitigate commercial risks and ensure governance compliance.
• Build relationships with Defence stakeholders, industry partners and suppliers.
• Drive value for money, efficiency and supplier performance management.
