Job summary

Rosewood Hotel Group in London is seeking a Duty Security Officer to supervise the on-duty security team, safeguard guests, colleagues and property, and deliver the warm, discreet service of Rosewood’s Relationship Hospitality.

You will patrol, respond to incidents, coordinate with departments and emergency services, and maintain records while upholding the highest standards of professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Visible, approachable and professional presence that helps guests and colleagues feel safe and welcomed.
• Ability to de-escalate challenging situations with clear communication and calm leadership.
• First Aid at Work certificate (minimum 3 days) and SIA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Security team during your shift and maintain safety for guests, colleagues and the property.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, fire alarms and critical situations following established procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols and ensure escape routes and access points are compliant and unobstructed.
• Manage security documentation, key-control, secure cash movements and reporting of incidents.
• Liaise with police, emergency services and government agencies when required.

You will combine the authority of a trained security professional with the warmth, discretion and confidence expected within luxury hospitality.YOUR ROLEAs a Duty Security Officer, you will supervise the Security team on duty and help protect our guests, associates and property while delivering the warm, intuitive service that defines Rosewood’s Relationship Hospitality.You will provide a visible and approachable presence throughout the property, respond to incidents with composure and sound judgement, and ensure that security is always delivered professionally and with care.
