Job summary

The Chancery Rosewood in London is seeking a Waiter to join the Food and Beverage team, delivering personalised, attentive service and sharing menu knowledge to enhance every guest experience.

You will support multiple outlets—restaurant, In-Room Dining and events—collaborating with kitchen, bar and front-of-house colleagues to uphold Rosewood’s A Sense of Place philosophy and five-star standards.

Responsibilities

• Build warm, authentic relationships with guests, showing genuine care and attentiveness at every touchpoint.
• Anticipate individual needs and provide thoughtful menu guidance, personalised recommendations and wine pairings.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, carefully recording dietary requirements, allergies and special requests.
• Maintain impeccable table presentation, service flow and timely clearance in line with five-star standards.
• Explain menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, dishes and beverages with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Take ownership of side duties, mise en place and daily service preparation, ensuring all areas are immaculate and guest-ready.
