Job summary

The Londoner in London is seeking a Duty Security Officer to join the Security team. You will conduct security patrols, monitor CCTV, and assist with bag searches for staff and contractors, ensuring incidents are properly recorded and responded to.

You should stay calm under pressure, work independently, and prioritize a dynamic workload while supporting the hotel’s safety standards and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK under current immigration rules.
• Experience delivering security duties with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent building safety, security and environmental patrols as required.
• Monitor CCTV systems and assess potential areas of concern.
• Assist with bag searches of staff and contractors leaving the building.
• Record and report accidents and incidents; ensure injured persons receive first aid or hospital treatment as required.
• Assist in routine internal security audits as part of the group security review program.
• Monitor the fire alarm panel and panic alarms and respond to emergencies per procedures.
• Perform door supervisor duties across the F&B outlets within the hotel.

We are currently recruiting for a Duty Security Officer to join the Security team at The Londoner Hotel.

Overview:

• An amazing opportunity to join the security team at The Londoner Hotel.
• You will conduct frequent building safety, security and environmental patrols as required.
• You will monitor CCTV systems, detecting and assessing potential areas of concern, criminality, harm to individuals or loss to the business.
• . You will assist with bag searches of staff and contractors leaving the building.
• You will ensure that all accidents and incidents are correctly recorded and reported and that injured persons receive first aid or hospital treatment as required.
• . You will assist in the routine internal security audit as part of the group security review program.
• . You will monitor the fire alarm panel and panic alarms applying appropriate emergency responses in accordance with established procedures.
