Job summary

Whitbread is hiring a Duty Manager for our Arundel Premier Inn. This role is 24 hours per week on a fixed term contract through December 2026, with pay up to £13.86 per hour. It's not a desk job; you'll lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay.

You'll work on the floor, coach your team, resolve guest queries and help keep the hotel running smoothly. The job offers training and a clear path to leadership, with opportunities to progress

Qualifications

• Experience leading people in a busy customer-facing environment
• No previous hotel experience required
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy periods

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant
• Provide clear pre-shift briefings and coach team members
• Help guests with questions and resolve problems
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant
• Spot issues early and put them right
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team
