A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is hiring a Duty Manager for the Aldridge SPAR store. The role offers 20+ hours per week, with shifts 6am–2pm and 2pm–11pm, at £13.75 per hour. You will support the Store Manager and oversee operations during duty periods to ensure top service and store performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to ensure a safe, high-performing store during shifts.
• Deliver store operations, objectives and KPIs.
• Coach and support colleagues to develop a motivated, empowered team.
• Carry out performance and absence management as appropriate.
• Contribute to till tasks, cash handling and security checks.
• Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Engage with the local community to promote the store.
• Adhere to company policies and processes.
