Job summary

Premier Inn Dorchester is recruiting a Duty Manager to lead on the floor, work across reception, housekeeping and restaurant and ensure guests have a great stay. The role is 37 hours per week with a permanent contract and pay up to £13.86 per hour.

You’ll be on the floor, not just supervising, and you’ll coach the team, brief shifts and resolve issues quickly. We welcome applicants from retail, hospitality or customer service who can lead by example, stay calm under pressure and make decisions.

Qualifications

• This role requires the ability to lead from the front, make decisions and stay calm under pressure.
• Some of our best Duty Managers joined from retail, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, leisure, healthcare or customer service.
• If you’ve led people before, we can teach you the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings
• Support and coach team members throughout the day
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant
• Spot issues early and put them right
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team
