Job summary

Premier Inn Guildford North is seeking a Duty Manager to lead hotel operations on shift, coordinating reception, housekeeping and the restaurant teams to ensure a great guest stay.

You'll motivate and coach the team, handle guest queries, resolve issues quickly and work with the Hotel Manager to maintain service standards. A hands-on leader role with clear career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Ability to make decisions quickly and calmly.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Coach team members and support the guest journey throughout the shift.
• Help guests with questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Support multiple hotel departments from reception to restaurant.
• Spot issues early and take corrective action.
• Ensure guest safety and smooth hotel operations.
• Collaborate with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
