Job summary

Premier Inn is seeking a Duty Manager to help lead the hotel during shifts, coordinating across reception, housekeeping and restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll be on the floor, guiding the team and solving problems as they arise.

With a permanent contract, 24 guaranteed hours per week and opportunities to progress to Hotel Manager, this role rewards leadership and hands-on service in a busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant.
• Confident in making decisions and staying calm under pressure.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
