Job summary

Whitbread in Perth is seeking a Duty Manager for a 24-hour-per-week role at Premier Inn. You’ll lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay, while guiding your team and solving problems as they arise.

This fixed-term contract runs until 28 January 2027, with evenings and weekends included. If you enjoy leading from the front and want a stepping stone to Hotel Manager, this is a brilliant place to start.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Ability to resolve guest issues calmly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and restaurant.
• Coach team members and conduct clear pre-shift briefings.
• Assist guests with questions and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to deliver a smooth guest experience.
• Identify issues early and implement corrective actions.
• Support the Hotel Manager and leadership team to run the hotel.
