Job summary

Whitbread is seeking a Duty Manager for Dundee West Premier Inn. This 16-hour per week role is on a fixed-term contract until December 2026, with pay up to £13.86 per hour. You will lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay.

You’ll train and support colleagues, brief teams before busy periods, resolve guest queries, and help keep the hotel running smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role with growth opportunities within Whitbread.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy, guest-facing environments.
• Strong people-management and decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Coach and support team members throughout the day.
• Resolve guest questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams.
• Maintain safety and hotel operations during shifts.
• Work with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
