Job summary

Heron Foods is seeking a Duty Manager for the new Trevethin, Pontypool store. You will lead the team, uphold customer service excellence, keep the store well presented and stocked, and drive sales while ensuring efficient store operations. You may act as a keyholder when the Store Manager is unavailable.

The role is 27 hours per week with a pay of £13 per hour, offering a fast-paced, rewarding environment with opportunities for growth and recognition.

Qualifications

• Proven success as a Retail Supervisor, Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Manager or similar role in fast-paced retail.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent organisational abilities and a passion for customer service.
• Proactive, energetic approach to managing a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving queries effectively.
• Maintaining a clean, well-presented, and fully stocked store.
• Driving sales and profitability by managing performance and efficiency.
• Being a keyholder and taking responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
