Job summary

MOXY Edinburgh is seeking a Crew Leader on a full-time basis to act as Duty Manager, overseeing reception operations and ensuring exceptional guest service. You will lead a diverse front-of-house team and coordinate with bar and kitchen operations to deliver the Moxy experience.

The role requires at least 3 years in the service industry, strong leadership, and knowledge of Opera PMS and Micros POS. Shifts include early, late and night rotations across seven days, with a focus on guest

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the service industry.
• Experience in team management.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS.
• Knowledge of Micros POS.
• Knowledge of food safety and licensing laws.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).
• Travel industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead front desk operations and guest interactions as Duty Manager.
• Oversee daily hotel operations and team performance.
• Manage shift patterns, including early, late and night rotations.
• Deliver high-quality guest service and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with F&B and other departments to maintain Moxy standards.
• Ensure safety, licensing compliance and accurate billing.
• Mentor new crew members and support staff training.
• Promote Marriott Bonvoy and the Moxy brand in daily operations.
