Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Duty Manager to join our casual bank. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment during opening hours and provide a confident, proactive point of contact for customers.

We offer flexibility with no fixed hours and the potential to obtain the NPLQ within three months through RLSS training, supporting a dynamic, service-driven team.

We're looking for a leader and confident problem solver to join our casual bank of Duty Managers!

If you're all about flexibility and prefer the freedom to work on specific days or cover short-term assignments, this is the role for you.

As a casual worker, you'll have no fixed hours and will work on an as-needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You is not obligated to be available, and the Council is not obliged to offer you work.

As a Duty Manager, you'll be at the heart of our centre's day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment during operating hours.

We're looking for someone who brings innovation, energy, and strong leadership skills to the table, especially when it comes to solving complex customer and facility issues.

Don't have the UK's National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) yet? No worries! We'll support you in obtaining it within three months through a course run by the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS).

As a casual worker, you will have no fixed hours and will work on an as-needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You is not obligated to be available, and the council is not obliged to offer you work.
