Job summary

Hotel du Vin Henley on Thames is seeking a Duty Manager to lead across Front Office and Food & Beverage teams in a busy hotel setting. You will be a hands-on manager supporting breakfast, checkouts, and house-keeping coordination to ensure top service standards.

The role offers development from Junior HoD to Senior HoD, with comprehensive benefits and training opportunities. Salary is competitive within a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience in Guest Relations would be advantageous.
• Hands-on manager with experience in a busy Food & Beverage Department.
• Able to assist in the smooth running of all customer-facing departments across F&B and Front Office.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple departments, supporting breakfast service and busy checkout periods.
• Check bedrooms with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure standards.
• Lead and develop the team toward a Head of Department trajectory within the Malmaison/Hotel du Vin group.

Duty Manager Rate of Pay, Hours: £32,000 / 40 hours Type of Contract: Permanent position Location: Hotel du Vin Henley on Thames Set Shifts, Competitive Salary, Career Development Working across multiple departments this Duty Manager role gives you the chance to work as part of the F&B and Front Office teams in our bustling hotel. You will be a hands on manager with experience of working within a busy Food & Beverage Department. You will be looking for a role that will allow you to continue your development from Junior HoD to a Senior HoD role. As Duty Manager within Hotel du Vin you will be assisting in the smooth running of all Customer facing departments - from working alongside the breakfast team, dealing with a busy check out period through to checking bedrooms with the Housekeeping Manger. Experience in Guest Relations would be advantageous as would an interest in what is trending in the local area around the hotel. If you are successful in your application of Duty Manager you could be expected to progress to a Head of Department role looking after a single department and then onto a more senior HOD role within Malmaison or Hotel Du Vin.
