As Front of House Manager, you will lead and inspire our Reception team, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome, a seamless stay, and a memorable farewell. You and your team are the first and last people our guests interact with, setting the tone for the entire guest journey and ensuring every visit exceeds expectations.
Working with Opera Cloud, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of the Front Office operation, driving service excellence and maintaining the highest standards across the department. Previous reception management experience within a hotel environment is highly desirable, along with a strong understanding of guest service, operational efficiency, and team leadership.
You'll be confident in all aspects of people management, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and developing your team to reach their full potential. We are looking for someone who can lead by example, inspire confidence, and create a positive and engaging working environment where individuals can thrive.
A natural problem-solver, you'll be comfortable handling guest queries and complaints professionally and efficiently, always striving to find solutions and turn challenges into positive experiences. You'll also have a commercial mindset, identifying opportunities to upsell rooms, packages, and hotel services while encouraging your team to maximise every guest interaction.
This role requires someone who is highly organised, able to prioritise tasks effectively, work independently, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions are essential.
