Job description

Step into a key role where you'll ensure our restaurant runs smoothly, especially when other managers are away. As an ambassador for our brand, you'll represent us proudly and help train the team. You'll be a champion in upholding our policies, procedures, and standards, making sure every guest has an awesome experience. You'll take charge of daily administrative tasks, meticulously following the directions of the General Manager. You'll also be on top of managing stock, handling cash, and keeping our premises secure. Plus, you'll have the responsibility to open and close the business as needed. This role is perfect for a proactive, responsible team player.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enables an ‘Excellent’ culture at all times
  • Supports the team to achieve great guest hospitality
  • Follows the brand standard
  • Ensures the guest receives high quality food, drink and hospitality
  • Knows how to manage controls such as labour and can respond to business need on shift
  • Can open and close the restaurant to company standard
  • Supports the team to work cleanly, hygienically and safely
  • Ensures the team are working efficiently on shift
  • Can run each of the operational pillars on a capacity shift
  • Deals with on shift situations promptly and effectively
  • Co-ordinate the duties of staff members and anticipate any other business needs when on duty
Freshness
  • Contributes ideas and learns from mistakes
  • Coaches the team on shift
  • Keeps own knowledge and skills up to date
  • Maximises sales opportunities and assists in encouraging the team to drive guest spend per head
Integrity
  • Owns their own personal and professional development
  • Can manage all aspects of the shift in absence of management
  • Confident in escalating business critical issues
  • Responsible for the security of stock and takings on shift
  • Assist in carrying out specific areas of responsibility as directed by the General Manager which could encompass but not limited to – financial paperwork, training or reactive maintenance
  • Knows all current promotions and can effectively convey to team on shift
  • Knows all targets on shift and always endeavours to reach for them
  • Comply with Aviation Law
Collaboration
  • Promote respect, teamwork and fun on shift to ensure a great service for our guests and a positive experience for our team.
  • Motivates the team to deliver targets
  • Is approachable, listens to and confidently communicates with guests and the team
  • Contributes towards team and management meetings and other meetings when asked to attend
