Job summary

Ember Inns’ White Lion Hotel in Ambleside is seeking a Duty Manager to work alongside the General Manager in running the day-to-day operations and delivering the high standard of service guests expect.

You’ll lead, coach and motivate your team, ensure smooth service in food and drinks, and drive the business towards targets while maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink and service to a high standard.
• Be a role model and guide development within the team.
• Ensure guests are cared for and hosted at every step of their visit.
• Strive toward and achieve business targets.

Job description

As Duty Manager at the White Lion Hotel, you’ll work alongside the General Manager to lead your team to success. You’ll oversee all areas of the business, making sure provide guests with an experience that keeps them coming back for more.
