Job summary

Milk Education in Durham is seeking a motivated Learning Mentor to join a welcoming primary school. You will build relationships, support pupils to set and reach learning goals, and help pupils develop confidence and resilience.

This role is ideal for graduates or aspiring teachers with mentoring, coaching, youth work or volunteering experience, and offers a supportive environment with opportunities to grow. You will work with teachers to foster independence and positive learning habits.

Qualifications

  • Experience mentoring, coaching, youth work, childcare, tutoring or education.
  • Graduate or aspiring teacher with relevant volunteering/placement experience.

Could you be the person who helps a child realise what they're capable of?

Milk Education is looking for a motivated and inspiring Learning Mentor to join a welcoming Primary School in Durham.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, motivating young people and helping children overcome barriers to learning.

You don't necessarily need to have worked as a Teaching Assistant before. If you've got experience in mentoring, coaching, youth work, childcare, community work, tutoring or supporting young people, your skills could be a fantastic fit.

What You’ll Be Doing
