Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Graduate Learning Mentor to join a fantastic primary school in Whitley Bay from September 2026. This is an ideal opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting children academically, socially and emotionally before progressing into teacher training or other education-based careers.

As a Graduate Learning Mentor, you will support pupils throughout the day, deliver small group activities, and help create an inclusive, positive learning

Qualifications

• Graduate (any degree subject welcome).
• Experience with children is desirable but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn.
• Passionate about making a positive impact in education.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils throughout the school day in class and interventions.

• Build pupils' confidence and encourage engagement with learning.
• Provide additional support to children with varying learning needs.
