Job Description:

The Ark service in Dunfermline supports 12 individuals with learning disabilities and autism. The support provided varies from person to person, including assistance with independent living, daily activities, and personal goals. Support roles include helping with cooking, swimming, medication, arts and crafts, social visits, and holidays. Shifts are flexible, ranging from 3 to 16 hours across 7 days a week. Public transport is accessible, so driving is not necessary.

Main Duties:

• Support vulnerable individuals as part of an effective team.
• Build positive relationships through individual care and communication.
• Assist with activities, providing encouragement and feedback.
• As a Relief Support Worker, perform the same duties as Support Workers on assigned shifts, with flexibility to choose shifts based on availability.

Note: Relief work is on an as-needed basis, covering staff absences and contingencies. Regular shifts are not guaranteed.
