1st Step Solutions is seeking a proactive Ductwork Manager for a long-term project in Market Harborough. The role requires passing on-site security clearance and managing the ductwork package from planning to handover.

You will lead site teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure compliance with RAMS and safety standards on a major HVAC installation. This contractor role offers long-term stability and on-site leadership responsibilities.

1st Step Solutions are seeking an experienced and proactiveDuctwork Manager on a long term commercial project in Market Harbour. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to successfully pass the security clearance on site.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining clear communication and strong professional relationships.
• Plan, execute, and monitor all stages of ductwork package, through to final handover.
• Organise and manage labour resources, materials, and site demands for efficient project delivery.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and industry standards, including preparing and reviewing.
• Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks on installations, ensuring work aligns with project specifications and drawings.
• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support related to ductwork installation, fabrication, and HVAC systems.

Requirements:

• ONC/HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent professional experience is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as an in-date CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS are preferred.
• Proven experience within the ductwork, HVAC, or building services sectors is essential.
• Mechanical qualification.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage and supervise site teams
