Job summary

Coppice PFF Packaging is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to own Environment, Health & Safety across two manufacturing sites in Keighley and Sedgefield. The role is highly autonomous, acting as the EHS subject matter expert to shape strategy, ensure legal compliance and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You’ll travel between sites and work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 required.
• CMIOSH or working towards Chartered Membership.
• Manufacturing/FMCG EHS experience.
• Experience across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S and environmental legislation.
• Experience with risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS strategy across Keighley and Sedgefield sites.
• Ensure compliance with UK H&S and environmental laws.
• Manage risk assessments, audits and corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and drive root-cause analysis.
• Lead environmental compliance and waste management initiatives.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and inductions.
• Provide EHS reporting to senior leadership.
• Embed EHS into operational decision-making.
