Coppice PFF Packaging is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee two manufacturing sites in Sedgefield and Keighley, driving the group’s safety and environmental agenda. You will shape the EHS strategy, policies and systems, embed a proactive safety culture, and ensure compliance across both sites.
This hands-on role requires strong judgment to challenge unsafe practices, lead audits and investigations, and deliver continuous improvement with senior leadership reporting.

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to take responsibility for the company's two manufacturing sites in Sedgefield, County Durham and Keighley, West Yorkshire.
Working Monday to Friday, this is an autonomous and challenging multisite role requiring a committed EHS professional who can operate independently, influence at all levels and ensure colleagues have a safe and healthy working environment.
As EHS Manager, you will act as the company's lead professional and subject‑matter expert across both sites, developing and maintaining the company's EHS strategy, policies and systems.
You’ll play a key role in embedding a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing risk and driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing operations. The role will cover both health & safety and environmental compliance, with regular site inspections, audits, investigations, training and reporting to senior leadership and the Board.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong professional judgement, autonomy and the confidence to challenge unsafe practices and influence operational teams while maintaining professional independence.
