  • Plan and deliver site inspections, audits and compliance checks covering areas including fire safety, statutory inspections and environmental compliance.
  • Lead accident, incident and near‑miss investigations, carrying out root cause analysis and ensuring corrective and preventative actions are completed.
  • Maintain responsibility for environmental compliance, including waste management, pollution prevention, permits and contractor controls.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training, inductions and toolbox talks, maintaining accurate training records.
  • Maintain EHS performance data and provide clear reporting to senior leadership and the Board.
  • Chair Health, Safety and Environmental meetings, ensuring actions are clearly assigned and followed through.
  • Keep up to date with changes to EHS legislation and guidance and ensure these are communicated and implemented across the business.
  • Exercise the authority to stop unsafe work where necessary and escape significant EHS concerns appropriately.
