Chesterfield Royal is seeking a Dual Trained Patient Services Assistant to combine catering and domestic duties, delivering high-quality food service while supporting infection prevention and patient care. The role covers ward-based food service and cleaning duties across the hospital environment.

The position involves a 16-hour per week contract on a rota, with options over several days and some weekend/bank holiday work.

Formación

• Read and understand to the required standard.
• Maths and English at basic level.
• Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional and high-quality food and drink service to patients on wards.
• Ensure meals are served efficiently and accurately to maintain food quality.
• Support patients with menu selection and meal service as required.
• Maintain food safety standards and comply with Trust catering policies and procedures.
• Clean ward areas, departments and offices per NHS cleaning standards.
• Follow infection prevention practices and use PPE when needed.
