Job summary

Octopus Energy Services is hiring a Smart Meter Engineer to fit meters in customers' homes and demonstrate how the in-home display works to help customers save energy. You will represent the company professionally and provide excellent service while collaborating with the office team to improve processes.

Qualifications

Proven track record installing smart meters.
Customer-first mindset and can-do attitude.
MOCoPA certification valid within last 2 years.
Gas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent).
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

Fit meters and install smart metering equipment in customers’ homes.
Demonstrate how the meter and in-home display work and how it helps customers save energy.
Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and represent Octopus Energy Services professionally.
Work with the office team to deliver top-class service and continuously improve processes to spend more time on service and less on administration.
