Job summary

Orion Smart Metering is seeking an experienced Dual Fuel Engineer to install smart gas and electric meters in domestic properties, delivering exceptional service while ensuring safety regulations are met. You will manage your stock and workload and work to KPIs within a supportive team environment.

The role offers a competitive package with 45,000 £ per annum or daily rates, plus a structured bonus scheme and long-term career opportunities. High standards of customer service are essential.

At Orion Smart Metering, we're proud to partner with some of the biggest names in the gas and energy sector. As we continue to expand across the UK, we're looking for experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to join our growing team.

Pay & Package Options

Choose the option that works best for you:

1? Salary Package

• £45,000 per annum
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided

2? Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 1

• £200 per day
• Paid via Umbrella PAYE
• Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided

3? Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 2

• £275 per day
• Paid via Umbrella PAYE
• Engineer provides own van & fuel
• Tools & uniform provided

4? CIS Option

• £240 per day
• Engineer provides own van, fuel & tools
• Uniform provided

Performance Bonus (Available on All Packages)

Earn more with our structured bonus scheme:

• Daily bonus paid after completing 6 points
• £50 per point from point 7 onwards
• 1 point per asset installed (2 points for dual installs)
• 0.5 point per comms/transactional job

Example: Complete 4 dual installs in one day and earn an extra £100 bonus
