Job summary
Sureserve Energy Services Meters in the United Kingdom is seeking permanent Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to install and exchange meters in customers’ homes and to deliver informative demonstrations of new meters.
Ideal candidates hold MET1 and CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 qualifications with at least 6 months’ experience in smart-meter fittings, valid UK driving licence, and a commitment to high-quality customer service. Site-based role in Truro with a strong benefits package.
Qualifications
- MET1 qualification is required.
- CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 qualifications are required.
- Single phase electric knowledge is required.
- MOCOPA (1a and 1c) certification is required.
- REGT1 and polyphase electric knowledge is desirable.
- Full UK Driving licence is a must.
- Minimum of 6 months experience fitting dual fuel smart meters.
- 3 phase or single-off multi experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
- Provide a first class after-care service including a full meter demonstration.
- Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

- To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
- Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
