Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters, a subsidiary of Sureserve Group Limited, is hiring a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to replace gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes in Llandudno and provide a full demonstration on meter use.

The role offers competitive salaries (£39,923 banding A; £41,571 banding B) with uncapped OTE (£48k–£53k) for dual fuel engineers, plus generous benefits and 29 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• MET1 is required for dual fuel smart meters.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 certificates are preferred.
• Experience in fitting dual fuel meters is required, minimum 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a full meter demonstration to customers.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role:

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K – uncapped

• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3
• Single phase electric
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c)
• REGT1 and polyphase electric (desirable not essential)
• Full UK Driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months experience in fitting dual fuel smart meters
• 3 phase or single-off multi is advantageous
