Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters, a leading provider of domestic smart meter installations in the UK, is hiring a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer for Exeter on a permanent basis. You will exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes and deliver a full after-care demonstration to ensure proper usage.

Qualifications

• MET1 qualification required.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 qualifications required.
• Single phase electric knowledge required.
• MOCOPA knowledge required (1a and 1c).
• REGT1 and polyphase electric knowledge desirable.
• Full UK Driving licence required.
• Minimum 6 months experience fitting dual fuel smart meters.
• 3 phase or single-off multi experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a full after-care demonstration on how to use the new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role:

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K – uncapped

Performance bonus

Weekly meter fit bonus scheme
