Job summary

Orion Smart Metering is seeking experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join our nationwide team. You will install smart meters in domestic properties, deliver a professional customer-focused service and ensure all safety and compliance standards are met.

We offer flexible pay options: a £45,000 annual salary package or two guaranteed day rates (£200 or £275 per day), plus monthly KPI and attendance bonuses. 33 days holiday and company van with fuel card are provided.

Qualifications

• Smart Meter Engineering qualification or diploma.
• CMA1 or CCN1 & MET1 certifications.
• MOCOPA certification (or completed during induction).
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Clean DBS check (recent within 3 months preferred).
• EUSR card advantageous, not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work meets industry safety and compliance standards.
• Represent Orion as part of a nationwide engineering team.

As we continue to grow our national contracts, were looking for experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join our expanding team.

The Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers need to live in any of the following postcodes:CV7 / CV9-13 / B46.

Pay & Package Options

Choose the option that suits your circumstances:

1?? Salary Package

• £45,000 per annum.
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided

2?? Guaranteed Day Rate Option 1

• £200 per day
• Paid via Umbrella PAYE
• Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided

3?? Guaranteed Day Rate Option 2

• £275 per day
• Paid via Umbrella PAYE
• Engineer provides own van & fuel
• Tools & uniform provided

Bonus Breakdown

Boost your earnings with monthly incentives:

KPI Bonus £150 per month

• Achieved by hitting 75% job completion in a calendar month

Attendance Bonus £150 per month

• Awarded for full attendance with no sick days
• Pro-rated for holidays

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8am5pm (1-hour lunch)
• Minimum 4 jobs per day / 20 per week
• Optional weekend work available once weekly targets are met

Call Out

• 1 week in 4 rota
• Standby payments MondaySunday
• Per job rates:
  • £150 per dual install
  • £80 per single
  • £50 per transactional job

Saturday work available (paid at day rate)
